No to decreasing roster sizes.
I’m not opposed to extending the draft. If we decide on it, I would recommend doing one more round for now, and if it works, try another the following year. I do think a lot of good prospects that don’t get picked tend to get immediately gobbled up by the most active teams.

Are you suggesting to increase roster size as the draft rounds increase or decreasing the reserves per every round added?
and very true

I actually don't mind the idea of increasing roster sizes, but I don't think it's necessary. Like I mentioned, a lot of teams use their current roster spaces to sign guys, so drafted guys would just fit in those spaces.

no on increasing roster sizes, 1500 players is more than enough, 50 per team is plenty. The more active teams would just get more of the studs and incoming teams would have even less to rebuild with.

I think the draft if fine with the way it is. Especially since we lose draft picks when signing RFAs. It lets those that lost picks a chance to sign undrafted prospects in UFA. There are always slew of players that are over looked and people are able to sign them during the year in free agency. The only thing I wish we would have is a DL. A lot of times we all lose players for the year and they sit on our rosters taking up space and hinders that team even more. One, hes not playing and two, he's taking up a roster spot of signing a replacement. I dont want to have a temporary 10day DL that takes a lot of time to track for the league, but more for the season ending type. Where if the player is put on the DL, they are no longer eligible to be used the rest of the year but at least you get your roster spot back to sign a replacement.

My casual league with friends doesn't do a DL spot with far smaller rosters. We have 50 player rosters, just part of the challenge, in my opinion. Release a prospect if you're at the roster limit and need to sign a stop-gap.
