Draft Pick Trading

I've mentioned it a few times, but we might be only MLB dynasty league that doesn't allow draft pick trading. I think we should allow this as it's been a long time coming. I can see allowing only 2yrs of picks to be traded, just to protect teams from owners leaving abandoned teams high and dry. So how about we allow pick trading? It sure would allow for teams to more quickly rebuild their teams with own players and shorten rebuild times too. I also think it would help make RFA bidding more interesting too. Rebuilding teams would be more inclined to also bid on players without necessarily missing out on the draft prospects.

I don't know how I feel about this. Trading draft picks would seem to make things very messy and open the door to corrupting the draft process. I mean, shitty teams are already getting high picks.

I’m against trading draft picks. I’d entertain the ability to move compensation picks for losing FAs, but that’s it for me.

I especially hate the idea of a team trading away its draft picks to "win now" and then leaving ... then we end up having to do some kind of draft pick compensation for the new owner.

We can already trade players we drafted ... isn't that sufficient?
