The awards voting will be scheduled as following:
9/12-9/16 - AL/NL Cy Young 9/17-9/23 - AL/NL Rookie of the Year 9/24-9/30 - Manager of the Year
When it comes to Cy Young and Rookies, I have shortlists already made based on statistics at the end of the regular season. With managers, it's not that simple.
So, for that reason, I've decided to leave the shortlist generation up to nominations. Anyone can nominate any OTHER GM for the award; you just cannot nominate yourself. So, if you think someone is worthy, please reply below and they'll appear in the vote for Manager of the Year.

I nominate Beau of the Cubs. He had 12 free agents last year, many of them notable potential starters, and had a lot of turnover at many positions. I remember looking at his team last year and wondering how he would manage to remain a division winner this year.
Well, not only did he manage to overcome a lot of turnover through some savvy moves, he wound up tied for the second best record in the NL.

I nominate Dan of the Rockies. For obvious reasons, he created a team that went 21-0, meticulously crafted over a period of time to be the favorite this year and for years to come.

Thanks, Dan! Proud of my Cubbies this year. Everything went better than planned though. I vote Dan of the Rockies. Meticulous planning and deft drafting created a special team.

Dan made a great argument for Beau and the offseason magic he cooked up on the northside. I just can't vote against a manager whose team went 21-0 though which is why my vote will be going to Dan of the Colorado Rockies.

I don't know if these are supposed to take playoff performance into account, but for the sake of adding others to the discussion, I want to nominate Griffin of the Giants. He's constantly making marginal improvements to his team through trades/FA each week - and with the recent upset of the Rockies - I'd say they paid off. Giants are definitely the most improved team from April to September.
