So my awesome life of living in a fantasy world is starting to change. My time to do things like this is changing due to real life changes (kids sports, trying to get more involved in my community, family, home projects) and I have to change a few things I do to times when I do this stuff (working on my physical health). Having to flop this stuff around is going to leave me a lot less time to work or play in these leagues in a competitive way and I don't feel like being here in a minimal sense is good or fair for these leagues (that's what Yahoo and those leagues are for). So what I'm saying is, I have to (I hate this word) quit. I'll still help Pat and Michael if they want until the offseason is over but if we find a new Yankees owner before that time I'll let them go. You're welcome Former Orioles GM (Bill). I hate this but I think it is best for me right now. Thanks for everyone being so cool and helpful in my short time playing.
Most memorable moment: First joining the league and Beau trading me a player who was retired. My lesson learned was make sure you do your research. These people will eat you. All good though. The only way I learn is usually the hard way anyways.
Most undesirable moment: Mikes blow ups/unnecessary jabs just making everyone uncomfortable. Everyone has bad days though. Some more than others. He's still ok in my book though as he's helped me since I've joined.

Any chance you could stay on as a league member but step back from CO related roles? That’s the real time killer (and always unappreciated; thank you for what you’ve done). Would love to still have you in the league.

Boooooo! Hate to see you go. Quitting fantasy baseball to spend more time with kids sounds like a terrible plan. Have you really thought this through?
I agree with Dustin, families come and go but fantasy baseball is a not negotiable. I’ve been divorced, remarried and started a new family whilst in this league, and trust me everything works out.
You have been a great asset Jeff, but understand if you need to do what is best. Also, Beau I feel like you need to bid and win Ryan Zimmerman who was nominated in free agency as payback, whether it was on purpose or not. lol
I am here to offer my services with the spreadsheet if needed. Also, would like to echo the sentiment to try and keep the team/step away from CO.
Speaking as someone who has been behind the scenes at times, I support this idea, for whatever that is worth. Also, Jeff, I cannot begin to understand what you are saying about real life eating into fantasy baseball time, but I really hope you can stick around in a non-CO role. It's great having you here.
As much as I want to stay it's just not in the cards right now. All this definitely wasn't to much to handle as the life of a stay at home dad gave me a few more hours than most to do this stuff. I just want to turn this time into something else freeing me up for new tasks. Living life on a schedule is the real killer here. Eventually the schedule will disappear and I'll be back looking for a new team.
Casey is a great owner. They'll definitely take the Yanks to the next level. No pressure Casey...
