Due to public clamor, the Commissioner's Office has decided to implement a two-week sign-and-trade policy that will effect future free agent signings.
For two weeks after signing a free agent, teams cannot trade said player(s) or waive said player(s) or DFA said player(s). Teams will still be able to release the player, as always.
As already mentioned, this will effect future free agent signings, and free agents signed in the first two weeks of bidding may be traded as you see fit.
