Most players that are being drafted will qualify for your 10 man minor league roster. Since players on your 10 man MiLB roster do not count towards your cap, it shouldn't affect your choice of draft picks.
Each and every week from this point on this season, owners can nominate players to bid on in free agency during the Mon - Wed period. Bids on these players are sent to Scott Boras. You are allowed to send bids for the nominated players anytime after they are nominated up through Friday night 11:59pm Eastern time.
See this link and scroll down to Free Agent Bidding Schedule.

All players have a salary that counts towards your cap. However, minor leaguers making $1M or less can be stashed on the 10-man MiLB roster, removing the cap hit. They still have the same salary, but for now you don't have to pay it (Maybe some mysterious booster pays them in a college football-type scenario). Soler will be making his real-life salaries (But I can non-tender him after any season, as with all prospects), so as long as that is $1M or less, I can choose to not have him count against my cap by sending him down to the MiLB roster.

so Soler's salary counts against the teams cap, this season, correct? any player who is above 1m and drafted goes against your cap this season, correct? Under 1m can go onto your minor league roster, correct?
Sorry, I still haven't seen a definitive answer. Asking because I am near the end of my current cap.

Like I told you in plain English above (And like the official rules say in the same), players making $1M or less can be put on the minor league roster. This is way easier than calculus.

lol, no, just making sure that players who are currently drafted count against your cap, if they have a major league contract, thats it, since some have been drafted already.
lol, and plain english to non-veteran players or people in the world is really simple generally, yes or no....thanks for answering the 3 questions above that were quite specific and that yes or no thing would have answered all 3 with 3 words.
