SHORTLIST CRITERIA

I used Fantrax's player rater numbers, and selected the top 15 hitters from each league. There was only one rule limiting players - an individual team could only have 3 players max on the list so to allow more of a spread (this affected no AL teams).

I am SOOO lucky that Altuve has come into his own these last 2yrs because he is the only player worth a dang that I got for Cutch. That trade at beginning of 2015 was looking SOOO bad for me. Then from out of the blue, literaly, Altuve starts hitting for some pop consistently. Then he starts to drive runs in. He was definitely my MVP last year and in the running to do it again as hes putting up even BETTER numbers this year. I think my hitting MVP is Manny, but because of the position and really unexpectedness of his production, Altuve is trying to unseat him.
