Guidelines and Explanation
All rankings are based on how the teams are expected to do moving forward. It is not a reflection of how the season has gone thus far. It's still early in the season (barely past the 1/3 mark), so there's still A LOT of time in the season, and what happens in the future has far greater weight than what has previously happened.
I've switched from Steamer to Depth Charts - which is FanGraphs' average of Steamer and ZIPS with playing time (ABs, IPs, etc) determined by the FG staff. I think this will be a better projection system to use going forward with these.
