I just wanted to show the Veto policy a little love. Earlier this year I had a trade for Grienke vetoed, requiring some more be added to the deal. If it were not for the veto policy that is in place, I would have made that deal and paid out more than what I would have gotten in return. Although I complained that the deal did not go through at the time, (my selfishness wanting a certain player blindly), it worked out in the end cause I got to keep Jeff Niemmen and Casey McGehee and didn't have to give up 4 top prospects from my team as well. My point is, sometimes you may not like a decision at the time, however it could turn out to be the greatest thing that didn't happen to you...keep an open mind to things you can't change. Just wanted the board to get some positive feedback for a change, the Brewers! MK

For the record, McGehee wasn't in the vetoed deal, he was in the rework that the CO approved but MAC decided against it.
There are always vetoes that turn out the other way. In an old league, when Manny Corpas was looking like a stud closer, he was dealt for a backup OF - Andre Ethier. It was vetoed because the commishes thought the team dealing Corpas would lose, but look how that turned out!
