Hello everyone,
We will not accept priority lists that are tied to salary cap or roster limits. We refuse to do the math that you need to do yourself.
These are things you must figure out before submitting a priority list. There is also a DFA system in place that will allow you up to seven days to be able to fix your roster if you go over your cap or allotted roster space.
While auditing the system, it came to fruition that two players had been wrongly allowed to sign MiLB contracts. These free agents were eligible prior to this season. During this season, they had completed the requirements of a qualifying season before being offered a contract. Mike Tauchman simply had his winning bid nullified and the remaining highest legal bid was awarded. Adrian Houser was allowed to sign weeks ago. He has had his contract nullified and he is a free agent.
If you have a short question for the CO, you may ask in the shoutbox. We will try to answer asap. If you have a case to submit that you want the CO to consider, then please send a PM to a member of the CO. Please do not submit a case for review on the shoutbox.
Each franchise has a clubhouse space on proboards. You are required to have a roster page in your clubhouse space. This roster page must include your current roster and contracts. It shall include any money currently owed for dropped players. It shall include a total of all money spent and money available. It shall be updated in a timely manner. Some teams are not currently meeting these requirements. Please update your roster page. Although we have an official roster spreadsheet (praise Hollar), you are still required to keep track of your roster.
The CO has decided that starting next season we will no longer have a waiver trading period after the trade deadline. We will be removing that option from the rules. We will also be moving the trade deadline to the following date:
Trade Deadline:
If the real life trade deadline is on a SUN - THU, then our deadline will be the following Sunday night at 11:59:59pm PDT.
If the real life trade deadline is on a Friday or Saturday, then our deadline will be the second Sunday night afterwards at 11:59:59pm PDT.
There was a recent problem with the free agency system at Scott Boras’ office. It seems that a priority list was entered that caused a mainframe computer meltdown. We have since restored from backups and after doing some data entry, everything is back online and up to date. Here are the ramifications:
Examples of statements that are unacceptable:
Gimme all the players on my list until I reach my salary cap.
Only give me the amount of players that I have roster spots available for.
