Pandemic and shut down is discussed grudgingly, with the sole emphasis being on how all that is good in the world is being taken from us.

A Defense of the Braves as #1

- You're underrating their MI. Manny Machado and Daniel Murphy are both CI/MI eligible. Thus, they're more likely to optimize their numbers

- Daniel Murphy is someone projections think you're too low on - as of the postings I made, he was projected for 19 HR, a .292 AVG, and a .826 OPS.

- Unlike mostly any teams, they aren't projected to be lower than average in the league in any given stat. And all but two should be 80th percentile or higher. They should rank top 5 or so in most stats and weekly should be expected to have a chance at almost any stat

- They might not have the best pitching staff in the division, but the depth of the staff means they should hold their own with the Nationals in any given week in the counting stats. Plus, their depth is all pretty quality, and unlike others they don't have anyone who should drag down their rate stats.

- They've got four players projected over 35 HR (Eloy, Franmil Reyes, Manny Machado, and Eugenio Suarez), with another 3 projected to get over 20 (Seager, Bichette, Lowe)

- Their bullpen is top-5 in holds projected, which is something not really considered in the podcast - I don't know if he's made any moves since, but Washington, for example, shouldn't be able to keep up with them in holds

- The computer loves them. They don't have as much star power as some other teams have, but their depth is all pretty much starter-quality, and they should be able to mix/match the hell out of their infield.

On the other hand...

- The computer liked them a lot last year too, and they underperformed, but it didn't like them to this extent and I've revamped almost everything about the power rankings and simulation algorithms since last year.

You guys should do more podcasts.  Being that I lived in Wisconsin most of my life, recently retired to Waynesville, NC, I certainly enjoyed your take on beer.  I had Bell's Oktoberfest for the first time tonight, the smoothest Oktoberfest beer I've ever had.  I have several breweries in my area in North Carolina, quite a good beer selection.  And there are several minor league teams within 2 hours of me, hope to start hitting some of them next year.
