Getting to the World Series
The playoffs have been expanded in this year of pandemic. 16 teams will make the playoffs. Each division winner will be in and will receive the tops seeds. Additionally, all division second place team + 2 further wild card teams per league. Wild Card seeds are by record. The fantasy season will end about 4 weeks before the MLB regular season does. If either of the top seeds are tied, the tie-breaker will go to the best H2H record vs. each other. The tie-breaker to make the playoffs will be determined by head to head record. The second tie-breaker will be determined by division record, and the third tie-breaker is your cumulative season total of pitching wins. The first tie-breaker in a playoff game is the same as the regular season tie-breaker. The second tie-breaker, if there is still a tie then the higher seed will advance. The AL Champion will play the NL Champion in the World Series, and the winner will claim Champions of the League!
Congratulations to the Atlanta Braves for best record and first Division Championship! The Angels successfully follows up the 2019 World Series victory with an AL best showing. Rockies, Reds, Rays also claim division flags. Along with newcomers Tigers taking the AL Central crown. Special shout-outs to Mariners and Yankees for breaking long-time droughts!

Week One was highlighted by a pair of biggest upsets. Both Number One seeds were defeated. The most disappointing of which is the Atlanta Braves exit round one after only their second loss of the season. They'll be kicking their chops for 2021. The White Sox also end the Angels title defense. Week Two:
AL
Chicago White Sox V Tampa Bay Ray New York Yankees V Detroit Tigers
NL
New York Mets V Colorado Rockies Chicago Cubs V Washington Nationals

The League Championship Series are set.
In the AL, the Rays look to punctuate a multi-year competitive run with a trip to the World Series. Tampa overwhelmed the White Sox in a rout. They will meet the upstart Tigers. Detroit got just enough pitching and just enough hitting to hold off the Yankees, who were making a run of their own. The match up came down to a single home run, but the Yanks last available player, Joc Pederson, failed to come through late Sunday night.
In the NL, the Rockies are set to host the Cubs. The Cubs are the remaining cinderella team and they are red hot, dominating offensive categories and leaning on a good bullpen. It will take a repeat effort, as the Rockies had a masterful week of pitching and remain extraordinarily deep on offense. The Rockies long awaited trip to the Series may be here.
ALCS: Tigers v. Rays NLCS: Cubs V. Rockies

2020 World Series: Tampa Bay Rays v. Colorado Rockies
The Rockies break through to the Series. Going into the final day tied with the Cubs, the Rockies received Joe Musgrove's best start of the year to clinch the National League Championship. The Rockies offense out produced the Cubs, who had finally cooled off.
In the AL, the Rays run away with another victory and an AL Pendant. Tampa displayed a power/speed combo and swept each category. With a quantity advantage in pitching, the Rays overwhelmed the Tigers. The Tigers end the year making the ALCS as first time owners.

2020 World Series Champion
After many years of regular season domination, the Rockies claim their first World Series title. The Rox entered the second consecutive week tied 6-6. Once again, a strong weeknd finds Colorado victorious. The Rockies offense was led by a big week from Dansby Swanson and overwhelmed the Rays. Tampa answered with an elite week of pitching. However, the Rockies got two great starts from Brandon woodruff and another weekend gem by Joe Musgrove to seal the deal.
Congratulations to the 2020 Colorado Rockies!

NOT THAT I AM BITTER:
But I was left with two ties after the final week of the regular season that were never decided. I guess they were straight ties? But I also assumed that there were no ties, that there was always a tiebreaker. Would I have made the playoffs? I don’t think I would’ve, but I’m curious

NOT THAT I AM BITTER:
But I question my 20 losses. Those stats could have easily gone the other way had the statisticians not smoked their crack pipes while my players were batting/pitching. Since there were no fans in the stands, I didn’t benefit from having a fan shine a light in the opposing teams pitcher’s or hitter’s eyes, allowing me to have better H2H numbers. I have sent Rob Manfred an email asking him to put down his crack pipe and open an inquiry as to why this has happened. Manfred and I are 🤞so I expect to hear from him soon.
Period 4 matchup between Dbacks and Phillies ended in a 6-6 tie, with 12-12 tiebreak, ending in a true tie. Thank god from CO standpoint, that would have been embarrassing.
Playing it out a bit further, Mets defeated Dbacks in week two. Playoff bracket would have remained the same.
