The Cardinals' 2022-23 Offseason Trade Block
UPDATE: With the trade of Dansby Swanson for Yu Darvish, the Cardinals' offseason focus now changes. After acquiring OF Michael Conforto to (hopefully) replace Swanson's production, I still need a decent MI (not necessarily a star) and a decent SP -- I may be able to fill these holes in FA but will certainly consider trade options. Nothing is off the table as long as it makes sense for both sides.
GOAL: After unexpectedly qualifying for the playoffs this past season, I would like to be in position (player health permitting) to make a run in the playoffs. I am not quite in "win now" mode, but that designation may come next offseason.
Target for competing for a Championship: 2023-25
No one is completely untouchable if the end result improves my team going forward.
Bottom Line: The Cards are open for business!
