Current Rank (previous rank) current roto stat total (previous stat total) - opinions only for entertainment purposes.
Remember I finished in the bottom 5, then won it all the next year. Anything is possible.
(3) Atlanta Braves 301 (280) - Deep hitting and pitching showing up, Eloy about to rehab, this team is scary good.
(4) San Francisco Giants 300.5 (277) - Only missing depth at MI, if Vilade gets a sept call up problem solved or a trade.
(6) Chicago White Sox 274.5 (257.5) - Ottavino now picking up saves too, its great when your only weakness is SBs.
(1) San Diego Padres 270.5 (291) - Sal Perez makes Royals fans enjoy this season, building a team around him was a great move. Edit: Acuna out for the season, can't be replaced.
(2) Cincinnati Reds 269.5 (289.5) - Can be confusing on which players to play when this deep, my favorite rookie Luis Garcia still going strong.
(8) Detroit Tigers 257.5 (251.5) - Just keeps creeping higher while being able to fight off injuries. Gray hasn't hurt him at all, a shout out to a Colorado pitcher is rare.
(7) Washington Nationals 248 (254) - injuries have stacked up here too but the bullpen has held strong.
(5) Baltimore Orioles 245.5 (266.5) - Should get at least 1 SP back after the all star break but Kirk might be the sleeper to watch was my 2nd favorite minor league C prospect on the "nobody sees" list with Huff a few years ago.
(14) New York Mets 236.5 (215.5) - Nice jump up, with Bradley and Yelich, a few more RPs could move them up even more.
(9) Colorado Rockies 235.5 (245.5) - A very good starting lineup but GP is now over 260 less than the Braves for reference.
(12) Milwaukee Brewers 221.5 (225.5) - Holding steading in the 6th spot in the NL, a move is eminent to keep it.
(13) Minnesota Twins 221.5 (216.5) - Still shocked at the RL Twins and shocked at the PB Twins, Jethro Gibbs rule #39.
(11) Los Angeles Angels 218.5 (228.5) - OF is a black hole and still no run support for Montgomery. Going to need Means and Anderson to come back strong.
(16) Oakland Athletics 217 (180.5) - looking stronger each week, 5 teams locked at 8-5 for the last 3 spots. 2 for the AL West, A's are the favorite now for the division title.
(10) Tampa Bay Rays 202 (231.5) - tough luck in head to head, the rebuild looking solid, a draft and off season could put them in contention again.
(15) Cleveland Indians 199.5 (193.5) - This team is still clearly in the running for a post season spot, the moves could make the difference.
(18) Seattle Mariners 173 (174) - Predicted to win the division but had to have rookies Manning and/or Lynch do some damage this year. If they rebound next year, this team becomes dangerous.
(20) New York Yankees 165 (162) - Looked like they were out of it, then, they saw an opening in the weak AL and giving it a run with some moves.
(21) St. Louis Cardinals 162.5 (146) - A good first year, 1 more win and hits projections, going to need another good draft.
(17) Houston Astros 157 (176.5) - With Degrom, Turner and Glasnow, they have solid foundation to build around.
(19) Miami Marlins 152 (162.5) - This team is starting to show 5 good value guys with some guys doing really well in the minors this year. Mix in the right vets and they could compete with the Braves next year.
(24) Los Angeles Dodgers 140 (129) - If still offering Shane Bieber, the price will only go up by the trade deadline.
(25) Boston Red Sox 133.5 (117) - Will be active come the trade deadline to go with a very good draft and some good building blocks. Heart sunk on Ashby's 1st mlb view, followed him since freshman in HS, don't count him out.
(24) Toronto Blue Jays 130 (105) - Lindor should be used the NY pressure after this season, this team is only a few steps from division winner, don't be surprised one bit in 2022, very deep at MI.
(23) Pittsburgh Pirates 126 (131) - Strangest team in a while from Buttrey on, speechless.
(22) Arizona Diamondbacks 111 (134) Huira was a shock to anyone in baseball, top prospect, great start, but the k to w rate did him in, called up a bit too early, it wasn't bad in the minors, he should rebound at some point, floor is still Joey Gallo type.
(27) Philadelphia Phillies 93.5 (84.5) - A good draft this year, should get a few more at the trade deadline and a good draft next season puts this team on target for 2023.
(28) Texas Rangers 78.5 (74.5) - A few great drafts, the addition of value FA's, a few solid mlbers, this build is closer to done than teams realize. This team could win it all next year with a great off season plan.
(29) Kansas City Royals 30 (55.5) - Loading up on prospects, could be top ranked minor league system with a good draft.
(30) Chicago Cubs 27.5 (23.5) - Wisdom possible FA pick up of the year.
