2022 Propect Ranking Updates

[Rockies GM (Dan)]

I was bored, so I wanted to look at how teams' farm systems are progressing a couple months into the season. So here's your update!

Top 10 is a grading of players 6-10, rather than a full picture of 1-10. Depth is a grade for the system after the top 10. If grades changed, I did revamp the methodology a bit, so it could be due to a few different factors, including prospect performance thus far.

Key Additions: Pete Crow-Armstrong (.257 with a 6 to 1 k to w rate in A+ ball, ahmmm red flag), Adael Amador (I don't bash RL rockies prospects because I love anyone who hits at Coors), Jose Ramos (a 21 yr old batting .248 in A+ ball is a KEY addition and gives you A+ depth), Cedanne Rafaela (I don't pick on short guys from 3rd world countries and it would be tough anyway right now, maybe w to k rate but he is on fire), Andrew Abbott (too short and too young to be key at anything)

There is the list, completed, Dan wants to tout that he has good prospects. Yes Dan, every year, you have great prospects, we get it. Get a cup like Stanley Cup and engrave all of them on there every year so you have something to remember them on.

For the guy who said I could say I told you so in a few years.

Yes, Paul Sewald is worth more than Madbum, Graterol is a nice kicker. The articles I read about Sewald and SPs over 27 yr old, both were spot on.


If Dan gets opinions, then sure, I really don't have much going on for the post season with my geriatric team, so I will add some opinions/analyses on everyones prospects coming up.  If your going to post opinions you have to be able to handle the criticism.
