Revised March 2023: clarification
Trading between teams can be accomplished in numerous ways. It is very important for all GM's to communicate. Three of the most efficient ways to begin negotiating a trade with another team are as follows:
Go to the board entitled “Trade Block”. In this section, you can post the players you wish to trade and/or what types of players you are interested in trading for. Do not post trade offers on the message board.
Each GM can be reached by PM. This is a personal message sent by you to another GM via a PB's Fantasy Baseball messaging system. Only the GM you send it to can see this message and it acts as a great way to negotiate back and forth. Simply click on a GM's name and proceed to "Send Personal Message", and you can send a message easily.
New GMs must be in the league seven days before making a trade. This allows new GMs to not be almost attacked by current GMs, and allows new GMs to get accustomed to the league and the rules.

Use the PB Fantasy Baseball Discord channels including trade-block-updates.
Trading can include Minor Leaguers, Prospects, and Major League Players but cash cannot be exchanged in any transaction. Salary cap space may not be traded. Players chosen in the annual league draft are ineligible to be traded until June of that year.
Trading with New GMs
New GMs must be in the league seven days before making a trade. This allows new GMs to not be almost attacked by current GMs, and allows new GMs to get accustomed to the league and the rules.
Trade Review Process
Any trade negotiation that concludes in an agreement must be posted in the "Trade Review" board by both GM's.
For a trade to be valid, both teams must state the proposed deal in full (players AND contracts), and that they have agreed to it. No trade can be contingent upon another trade still under review except in the case of a player being involved in that second trade and then moving again. In this case it is highly recommended that the teams involved post the trade as a single 3 team trade. Once proposed, accepted, reviewed, and approved by the trade committee, all legal trades are binding.
It is unacceptable to exceed the salary cap and roster restrictions. You are, however, allowed to complete trades that initially put you over, with 48 hours to officially get under. In conjunction with that though, when completing trades, you MUST outline a specific plan to get under. For example, if trading for Albert Pujols pushes me over the salary cap, within my trade (or in a separate PM), I must say that I will release such-and-such or DFA such-and-such that definitively gets me under the cap.
Trades must be posted on Fantrax as well as the trade review thread before they will be reviewed.
Once the trade has been posted and accepted by both GMs, the Trade Panel will review the trade. The Trade Panel holds trade approval authority. If a majority of the Trade Panel find the trade to be unfair, it will be vetoed. Non-trade panel members can also make an impact. If ten people vote to veto a trade, it will count as a vote within the trade panel and could sway a decision. To veto, send a PM to the "Trade Review" account.
