2012 MLB Draft? 2013?

This is technically the 2012 draft, not the 2013, as the majority of draft-eligible players come from the real 2012 draft.

Anyone who is under contract by a real team, has not accrued a season of eligibility in this league and is not owned by anyone in this league is eligible

you may ONLY draft players who were drafted (and signed) from last june's draft. also any international free agents who signed last year after the season started.

I thought guys like Ryan Wheeler were not eligible under free agency because they were prospects and would be eligible for the draft.

From the rules: This draft is for minor leaguers only. All minor leaguers who were drafted in June will be eligible to be drafted, along with any international player who comes over mid-season. No player who has entered prospect status may be drafted, only signed through Free Agency.

This sounds to me like the people drafted (and signed) in 2012 are eligible as are any FA minor leaguers who haven't reached the minimum IP/G requirements to go into prospect status.

I looked at last year's draft and Tyler Moore was drafted and he wasn't a 2011 draft pick.

"Free Agent" minor leaguers have always been eligible for our draft. I remember Noah Syndergaard and Justin Nicolino being taken in last year's draft, even though they were 2010 draftees IRL.

They're all correct. If the minor leaguer hasn't played in the majors or was drafted or signed internationally and is under 26 yrs old then they are eligible for drafting.
