Hard to place the defending league champ 3rd in the division but thats the way I see it right now. The Dodgers go 1 here over the Rockies on the strength of the pitching. I really think the Rockies could win this thing though. That being said dont sleep on the padres either. The diamondbacks have started in the right direction and the Giants just dont quite have enough right now.

My opinion differs greatly from Fred's. I have them ranked-
Padres, Dodgers, D'Backs, Rockies, Giants
I think overall depth of the Padres is still flawless, particularly pitching. Not a whole lot of stars, but plenty of serviceable players on very good contracts.

I'd tend to side more with the Rays on this one. I just lack the depth right now both in hitting and pitching, should injuries hit. A lot of my prospects are just knocking on the door, however, so come July, I could have some decent depth.
I'm targeting 2014 or 2015 for the year I finally start to see some real results from my prospect mining.
