wow....you all were right....Matt Carpenter just can NOT hit that 10th HR, he sucks......also...look at his strikeout to walk rate....lol...wow, who would have thought.

crap, I missed it...maybe because I don't have Carpenter on my team....but little Matty did it.....he hit number 10....thats 10 home runs....also a number of Medlen's wins...glad that trade was straight up...
Love seeing the Miggy deal I said was horrible before the season started, prove to be horrible also....only leading a team that was already good to an undefeated season...
Glad the veto committee was in place to protect the league from the "bad" trades...
still my top two worst deals of the year any teams were involved in....and the only two I that I said were horrible before the season started...I did miss the one that was listed number 1 on the earlier list...I must have been reading the rules when that one happened.
(the lesson for this season, that has been proven over decades in leagues everywhere, the veto committee vetoed trades are about 50 percent helping the league and 50 percent hurting the league, feel free to verify these numbers on any vetoed trade at the beginning of the year and those forced to be "restructured")
I think that was 4th, or was it 5th Carpenter ended up in NL MVP voting? I didn't catch that...hey he did use up a year of protectablility at $500k though.
just nice to be justified in my view point, from actual MLB and MVP voters.
Anyone on page 1, can now bit me, lol...
This is all tongue in cheek, humor, I still made the 2nd deal...I have to vent/laugh about it, this isn't the first deal that screwed me...won't be the last...I just like to screw them up myself.

He had a great year and was very valuable. I definitely didn't see a 7.0 fWAR. You definitely get to boast for that. And, I didn't take the HR bet. Carpenter was 7th in HR among qualified NL 2nd basemen. He had the same number as Aaron Hill and one more than Weeks, both of whom had less than 400 PAs.
IIRC, your argument was mostly about HRs, was it not?

well, it was mainly about the trade....I only got Medlen-who the trade committee stated that he was an "ACE" without actually ever being an ACE...and I had to give up MORE....I normally wouldn't have traded Carpenter straight up for Medlen...but for me to also throw in 4 more prospects was just INSANE and that deal will be the one that the Brewers are able to rebuild on...Thornburg, Hermida (whoever) and Gennett would have been more fair for Medlen....I completely overpaid but if something good comes out of it...so be it...maybe less "vetos"
